2017 Year in Review

As I sit here with my two pups, I realized 2017 was pretty cool for me personally. Just a quick recap on what happened this year:

February: 49th Annual Feast of Nations-Though it was super stressful, the event was a success. Couldn't be more thankful for the best E-Board.

April: Achieved a life goal and got a puppy! His name is Panda and he is the sweetest, cutest pit-bull terrier.

April: Finally made it to Chicago for the NSLDC Conference. It was so inspiring and I learned more than I expected. And I got to visit a pretty cool city.

July: My childhood best friend got married and I couldn't be happier for her!

August: My internship gave me floor tickets to see Coldplay! A personal highlight of the night was meeting and sitting next to the CEO and President of the organization.

September: My older cousin got married! Finally got pictures with (almost) all the cousins. Also, caught the bouquet! Not getting married any time soon though.

September: Achieved another life goal and made it to England! Also, survived my first Freshers Week with the best flatmates.

October: Made it to Warwick Castle with a handful of friends! Freaked out on top of a tower but it was so gorgeous.

October: Went to Blaenau Ffestiniog to go trampolining in a cave. I fought through my fear of heights (and a mini panic attack) and had the best time.

October: Finally was old enough to go out for Halloween! Being the completely extra person I am, all three girls wore the same dresses.

November: Officially 21! Though it meant nothing celebrating in a country where the drinking age is 18. Thanks to all my friends for putting up with me celebrating for two days.

November: This is the first time I have ever missed a Thanksgiving at home. It sucked but Rachel and I completely made it up by having the Brits celebrate Thanksgiving with us! Little note: English people do not like Sweet Potato Casserole.

December: Boingyboing1 Secret Santa gift exchange! Surprisingly, we made it to the actual exchange without knowing who got who.

December: Met my new puppy, Tigger, after an 8 hour flight home. So much love for this little boy.

December: My little boys sleeping together. They stole my heart right away.

December: Family Christmas Party! Matching PJs with the cutest cousins.

Ending the year with so much love and happiness. Here's to a 2018 filled with traveling, friends, and more fun.
