New Year, New Me?

"A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new."-Albert Einstein

It's that time of year again where everybody reflects on the past and plan on making changes for the future. The key word here is "plan." New Year Resolutions are usually broken within a month or so, making them completely pointless. Usually I would make a list of resolutions, however, this year I decided to try something else. I am making a "Goals List" which is all the stuff I want to achieve before next year. On my goals list include basic things like drinking more water and staying organized to harder goals like getting straight A's for my last semester and not spending money on random items. But a goal I am working to keep is posting more often and keeping a journal. Writing helps me relieve stress and when I am very stressed, I tend to forget my biggest reliever.

In order to achieve the goals I set out for myself, I printed off multiple copies of my list and posted them everywhere-and I do mean everywhere. There are copies in my closet, inside every single one of my notebooks, in my planner, and on my desk. I find seeing my goals will help me stay motivated.

Have a Happy New Year, and remember to smile.
Michelle. xx.
